Paul Howland, MBA, CEM, President HCTI

Paul has over 40 years of experience in HVAC system operation and maintenance. After serving in the US Navy as a Boiler Technician, he worked at several commercial-industrial scale central heating and refrigeration plants managing large factory automation projects with Hewlett-Packard, Beckman Instruments, and Emerson Electronic.

Previous to HCTI, Paul was Executive Director Facilities and Operations at the University of California Irvine (UCI). Paul currently teaches courses for UC Irvine and is an instructor for San Diego Gas & Electric, SoCal Edison, and Building Operator Certification Program (BOC) for the Northwest Energy Efficiency Council (NEEC).
